Three Decades of First-Class Painting

It started in their dad’s truck

Some of John and Dan Lobene’s favorite childhood memories are of riding shotgun in their father’s truck, going out on estimates. Their dad was a painter, and the trade was in the family.

Both brothers went on to earn business degrees from Roberts Wesleyan College — but the pull of the work they grew up around brought them right back. They founded FC Finishes to do painting the way they’d been taught: with craftsmanship, professionalism, and a level of cleanliness and care that sets a first-class job apart from the rest. Decades later, they’re still second-generation painters who show up on their own jobs.
